The home was a rare find; a completely original space located in a classic modern Mies tower that was still owned by the original occupant.  The cramped layout was tweaked to open up all spaces to the stellar light and views and a palette of authentic materials (teak, travertine, porcelain, stone) was employed throughout. An ingenious teak pocket door was installed to create a foyer space and the apartment was filled with a rare and pedigreed collection of refurbished original mid century pieces.
